A tall Victorian hallway with lath and plaster walls, several generations of repair and an original cornice the owners wanted to keep.
The solution
What we did
Loose lath and plaster removed and reboarded, walls dubbed out and ruled straight over the full height from a tower, and everything skimmed carefully up to the cornice with the moulding masked and cleaned afterwards.
