The problem
What we found
Black mould in the corners of both bedrooms and behind wardrobes, windows running with water every morning. A previous contractor had quoted for a damp proof course.
The solution
What we did
No damp course needed. Cold reveals lined with insulated board, a humidity-sensing extract fan fitted in the bathroom, trickle vents added, mould treated at the root and affected areas re-skimmed with an anti-condensation finish.
